  • The team handles all issues arising in individual and collective employee relations, advising companies on the structuring and securing of their employment practices.
  • It assists its clients in particular in managing contractual relationships, mobility issues and remuneration policies, as well as in handling disciplinary situations and individual or collective terminations. It also acts in connection with the conduct of social dialogue, the management of relations with employee representative bodies, the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and the implementation of information and consultation obligations.

Restructurings, transformations and complex transactions

  • The team acts on mergers and acquisitions and business transfers, both in the pre-transaction phase — through employment audits and the analysis of employment risks — and in the structuring and negotiation of transaction documentation, in particular the review and securing of SPAs and sale agreements, in close coordination with the Corporate – M&A teams.
  • It also advises companies on the structuring of transactions so as to integrate, from the outset, the applicable employment obligations, in particular information and consultation procedures with employee representative bodies and their impact on the timetable.
  • It further advises companies on the structuring and implementation of restructuring and reorganisation transactions affecting employment and collective status. In this context, the team assists companies in managing relations with employee representatives, preparing and conducting information and consultation procedures and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.

Complex and high-risk employment litigation

  • The team assists and represents companies and their directors and officers in the management of complex individual and collective employment disputes, with significant financial, social or reputational stakes, before employment tribunals, civil courts and administrative courts.
  • It acts in particular in disputes relating to the termination of the employment contract, mass or strategic litigation, restructurings and reorganisations, as well as collective disputes relating to the functioning of employee representative bodies, the validity of collective bargaining agreements and compliance with information and consultation procedures.
  • The team defines and implements targeted litigation strategies, integrating the procedural and substantive issues specific to each case, in close cooperation with legal and human resources departments.

Fundamental rights, social compliance and emerging issues

  • The team develops specific expertise on issues relating to fundamental rights and freedoms in the workplace, human rights and social compliance.
  • It advises its clients on issues relating to CSR, ESG, duty of vigilance, professional equality and the prevention of psychosocial risks, as well as on the adaptation of organisations to new forms of work and hybrid organisational models.
