Coblence avocats advised Frerejean Frères on its €9 million fundraising round.

Coblence avocats advised Maison Frerejean Frères on a €9 million fundraising round to support its international expansion and the development of new hospitality spaces in the heart of the Champagne region.

Founded in 2005 in Avize by Guillaume and Rodolphe Frerejean Taittinger, Frerejean Frères is accelerating its growth with a €9 million capital raise led by a group of private investors, including UI Investissement a well-established private equity player in the French SME market and the family office Corvis. Today, Frerejean Frères exports over 60% of its production worldwide.

The funds will be used to scale up champagne production, in particular through the creation of a new winery facility, increasing production capacity while refining parcel-based vinification to better reflect the terroir.

They will also support projects that embody the Maison’s art de vivre, such as the upcoming opening of a boutique hotel in Avize and the launch of an oenotourism initiative focused on hospitality, wine discovery, and the transmission of artisanal savoir-faire.

- Legal counsel to the investors: GN Avocats Associés (Nicolas Goulet)
